Meet the naturalist!

Pete Durnell, from Hampshire County Council Countryside Service, will be helping us out this year. We asked him a few questions...

What do you record?
I record, birds, plants, bats and moths, odonata, orthoptera and some diptera.

How are you involved with Bioblitz?
I will be helping with the moth trapping on Friday 17th June.

Do you have a New Forest wildlife fascinating fact?

The New Forest Cicada has not been seen for many years but may still occur in some under recorded part of the forest. Maybe this will be the year when it finally re-appears?
